WHO recommends breathing exercises for corona rehabilitation. Currently, there are no rehabilitation instructions available for those who have had Covid-19, and they are left alone with their symptoms. The use of steam breathing in addition to breathing exercises provides additional benefits.
For those leaving the hospital, blowing a bottle is recommended (e.g. exhalation resistance). It helps open small airways but it is not sufficient to rehabilitate weakened lungs.
Through WellO2 breathing exercises, you activate your inhalation and exhalation muscles with an adjustable resistance, which deepens your respiration and thus also calms your respiratory density. The steam you breath while doing the breathing exercises with WellO2 makes the mucus more fluid, hence making it easier to remove. This reduces cough symptoms. Cough can be caused by dry mucous membranes, which warm hydration can relieve.
